➷ Following the rules of PEMDAS, we must calculate what is inside the parenthesis first:

2^3 = 8

4^2 = 16

8 + 16 = 24

3/4(24)

To do this part, divide the value by the denominator (in this case 4):

24/4 = 6

Now multiply by the numerator (in this case 3)

6 x 3 = 18

Your answer is 18
