Skeletal muscles are tissues controlled voluntarily. The function of skeletal muscles is to control the movements of different parts of the body in relation to the skeletal element into which they are attached to. The connective tissues responsible for attaching skeletal muscles to bones are the tendons; they are composed of collagen fibers.
