The solution of 5.1(3) + 2.04 is 17.34

Solution:

From question, given that 5.1(3) + 2.04 --- eqn 1

Let us first multiply 5.1 and 3 in above equation. Multiplying 5.1 with 3 yields 15.3 .

[tex]5.1 \times 3 = 15.3[/tex]

So now equation 1 becomes,

15.3 + 2.04  

Now add 15.3 with 2.04. The addition of 15.3 with 2.04 is shown in the figure attached below.

We get the solution as  

15.3 + 2.04 = 17.34

Hence the solution of 5.1(3) + 2.04 is 17.34
