8(x+3)^2/2(x+3)

[8(x + 3)(x + 3)]/2(x + 3)

8 ÷ 2 = 4

(x + 3)(x + 3) ÷ (x + 3) = (x + 3). In other words, we cancel one of the numerator factors.

Answer: 4(x + 3).
