the function is:

[tex]p(x)=\frac{1}{3}\lvert x\rvert[/tex]

So in this case we know that the vertex has not been move so is in the coordinate (0, 0), now we can evaluate one point at the right and one point at the left so for x=1

[tex]\begin{gathered} p(1)=\frac{1}{3}\lvert1\rvert \\ p(1)=\frac{1}{3} \end{gathered}[/tex]

and for x = -1

[tex]\begin{gathered} p(-1)=\frac{1}{3}\lvert-1\rvert \\ p(-1)=\frac{1}{3}\cdot1 \\ p(-1)=\frac{1}{3} \end{gathered}[/tex]

so the coordinates are (1,1/3) and (-1,1/3), so now we can graph it so:
