Answer:

The spanish sent  to the Americas, mostly South America. These were Spanish men looking to make it big in the new world. They enslaved the natives and forced them to work in mines. Because Conquistadors were men who didn't bring women along with them, they intermarried with the natives. In addition, many natives were killed by European diseases they hadn't recently been exposed to, such as small pox and the common cold.
