Answer: -15

[tex]f(x)=9-\frac{72}{x}[/tex]

If [tex]f(x)[/tex] is 3 then we substitute x for 3 we get [tex]f(3) = 9-\frac{72}{3}[/tex]

-72/3 = -24

-24+9= -15
