Answer:

First do [tex]\frac{12-6}{4-2}[/tex], then simplify it into [tex]\frac{6}{2}[/tex], then, divide 6 by 2 to get 3. 3 is your rate of change.

Formula for slope/rate of change: [tex]\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}[/tex]
