The key reason why the industrial revolution led to urbanization was that FACTORIES DEVELOPED IN CITIES AND OFFERED MANY NEW JOBS.
During the period of industrial revolution, many industries spring up in cities and these industries have many vacancies for workers. Because of this, people started living rural areas to look for jobs and greener pastures in the cities. With time, these industrial cities become more populated than the rural areas.
